About the Journal

The International Journal of Fundamental Research & Development is an independent, peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal. It provides a reliable platform for original research, critical reviews, and scholarly communications that advance fundamental knowledge and support its application to developmental questions.

Aims

The journal aims to:

  • Publish original and rigorously conducted research across multiple disciplines

Scope

The journal welcomes submissions from the following areas:

  • Economics, management, education, social sciences, and policy studies

Interdisciplinary work is encouraged when it remains coherent and of clear scholarly value. Purely descriptive reports without analytical contribution are not considered.

Peer Review

All manuscripts undergo an initial editorial check for scope and completeness. Suitable submissions are sent for double-blind peer review by at least two independent experts. The final decision is made by the Editor-in-Chief or a designated handling editor. Authors receive reasoned feedback in all cases. The journal aims to complete the first review cycle within four to six weeks.

Publication Ethics

The journal follows the core practices of the Committee on Publication Ethics.

  • Authorship is limited to those who have made substantial intellectual contributions, participated in writing or critical revision, approved the final version, and accept accountability for the work.
  • Originality is required. Manuscripts are screened for plagiarism, including self-plagiarism.
  • Conflicts of interest and funding sources must be declared by all authors.
  • Studies involving humans or animals require prior ethics approval and informed consent where applicable.
  • Fabrication, falsification, or selective reporting of data is not accepted. Corrections or retractions are issued when necessary.

Open Access

All articles are freely available online immediately upon publication. Authors retain copyright. Content is published under a Creative Commons licence that allows sharing and adaptation with proper attribution. There is no charge for readers.

Publication Details

The journal appears quarterly. Each article receives a Digital Object Identifier. Content is preserved through recognised digital archiving practices.

Editorial Board

An international Editorial Board drawn from diverse regions and disciplines advises on policy and helps maintain scholarly standards. Full names and affiliations are listed on the journal website.

Fees

There is no submission fee. Any article processing charges are stated clearly and apply only after acceptance following peer review. Guaranteed acceptance or paid acceleration of publication is not offered.
